Traveling with your pet especially when relocating to another country is part of responsible pet ownership and most expat pet owners will experience it at some stage of their pets’ life.

Each receiving country has its own requirements and regulations when it comes to pet Import/ Export which needs to be adhered to by pet owners.

Sometimes the only requirement is a health certificate and an up-to-date vaccination record, however most receiving countries tend to require a variety of blood tests to ensure traveling pets are not carrying contagious diseases and don’t pose a health risk to human population. There may even be a quarantine period required upon arrival.

The Veterinary Hospital offers all travel related blood tests through third party internationally recognized and accredited reference laboratories.
